Albert Tort

Albert Tort is the CTO of Sogeti Spain He was a researcher and teacher at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). He is a specialist in requirements engineering, conceptual modelling, quality of information systems, testing and Ai-supported quality. His PhD thesis was about "Testing and Test-Driven Development of Conceptual Schemas", He is author of several publications and he coordinates the postgraduate course in Software Quality Assurance in the UPC.

Ard Kramer

Ard is a software tester from the Netherlands and he is working for Alten Nederland since 2008. He calls himself a Qualisopher which stands for someone “who loves truth and wisdom and at the same time is decisive to improve man and his environment” . This means he is interested in the world around us, to see what he can learn and he can apply in software testing. His dream is to participate, as a good qualisopher, in all kind of projects such as sports, culture or software testing. Projects which add value to our community: he wants to inspire other people by cooperation, fun and empathy and hopefully bring light in someone's life.

Toni Robres & Javier Amate

Antonio Robres is Test Architect at SCRM (Lidl Group) in Barcelona. He studied Telecommunications Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and has a Master in Telecommunications Management. He has been working for 12 years in the field of software testing and engineering of QA for different companies such as SCRM, Telefónica, Gas Natural and Grifols. His work focuses on the design and automation of several testing projects, mainly in the field of web services.
Javier Amate is a QA with a predilection for everything related to methodologies and technical documentation, above coding and algorithm. He has worked on projects for companies in sectors as diverse as banking, pharmaceutical or consulting, performing QA tasks and product testing but always with the focus on continuous process improvement, audit and equipment management.

Fernando Llaca

Working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Tuenti, Fernando’s work and main interests are focused on designing, building (and maintaining in production!!) highly scalable cloud architectures with millions of concurrent users around the world and mulitple deployments to production every day. In his free time, Fernando is always messing around with Computer Engineering stuff, he prepare talks and participate as a speaker at several events in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, etc.
During the day Fernando is interested in containers, high availability and continuous delivery mechanisms... at nights he experiments with home automation and (badly) guitar playing.

Oscar Moreno

Oscar currently works as DevOps Engineer at Excentia, a software and process quality consulting company with clients both in Europe and in America, and they are also partners of such important companies as Atlassian or SonarSource. His main functions are to manage the inspection, integration and continuous deployment tools (Sonar, Jenkins, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, etc.) define the quality thresholds for each client, show them the best programming practices, and present the reports about the code they develop to help them implement quality software in a more agile way.

Xavier Hidalgo

Xavier Hidalgo is a Software Engineer and he defines himself as Xtrem Programmer. In the last 15 years, he has played tasks related to the management of IT projects using different technologies. Almost all the projects he has developed had his own mobile apps and backend-api, focusing on high availability and high concurrency systems.

David Lluna

David Lluna is a very passionate and hard working software engineer. David likes to think of himself as a very innovative person and a fast learner. He loves agile and lean methodologies, and also believes in software craftsmanship.

David has been involved in quite a few projects as technical lead doing frontend, backend, platform, and sometimes UX work, but in the last 2 years he has been focused on Platform Engineering leveraging agile, DevOps, and CI/CD to manage distributed platforms.
